St Peter’s Preparatory School, Lympstone, is one of the most successful and forward-looking independent preparatory schools in the South West, awarded a ‘significant strength’ in our most recent ISI Inspection (May 2024), and we pride ourselves on our learning support.
The School wishes to engage a suitably qualified SpLD Specialist Peripatetic Teacher to work on an individual basis with pupils who have Specific Learning Difficulties associated with Dyslexia. Specialist lessons are parent-funded at a pre-agreed rate of £21.50 for 30 minutes.
The successful candidate will have a relevant SpLD/Dyslexia qualification and prior experience of providing 1:1 support to KS1/2 children with Specific Learning Difficulties. We are seeking someone with a calm and patient manner, a flexible, positive and proactive approach and excellent written and verbal communication with both children and adults.
This is a wonderful opportunity to work alongside our talented teaching team to enable children with Specific Learning Difficulties to thrive within the friendly and caring ethos on which we pride ourselves.
