The new term has begun with great energy and a real sense of optimism across the school. Even though the weather has been decidedly mixed, the enthusiasm of the pupils has more than made up for the grey skies. It has been especially pleasing to see our new starters settling in so well, bringing plenty of smiles and positivity to their first days with us.
Classrooms and playgrounds alike have been filled with activity, and in some cases, pupils have been so absorbed in their learning and play that they have been reluctant to leave at the end of the day! Of course, the effort and excitement of a new term means there are also some tired faces by home time – a sign of busy days well spent.
All in all, it has been a very encouraging start, and we look forward to all that the weeks ahead will bring.
