It has been wonderful to be back on site after attending the IAPS Conference in Brighton last week. Over 400 IAPS Heads gathered for an inspiring few days of talks and seminars, covering topics such as the political climate, ADHD support, and staff wellbeing.
As always, it was a pleasure to catch up with colleagues; our South West network of Heads is a particularly strong and supportive one, and we are very fortunate to be part of it.
This week, September sunshine has cast a golden glow over St Peter’s, showing the school at its very best. I have loved catching up with parents on the sidelines of rugby, hockey, and football matches, as well as enjoying the delicious cakes that made a welcome return to our St Peter’s match teas!
I am very much looking forward to seeing many of you at our Open Day tomorrow. It is always such a special occasion: parents can visit classrooms with their children, chat to staff, and see the wonderful work on display. Don’t forget: House Points will be awarded! Thank you in advance to our pupil tour guides, who always feel such pride in showing visitors around their school.
Have a lovely weekend!
