The children of St Peter’s celebrated the wedding of Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle with a summer cream tea and party on the lawn outside Harefield House.
Once everyone had stood and sung the national anthem, there was party food aplenty, with a good proportion of the baking, particularly from Year 6, being made by the children themselves (See in the photos below for jelly cocktails, biscuits and stunningly colourful cakes). Meanwhile the adults were kept content with a good amount of tea and cake.
Once everyone had fed themselves comfortably, the festivities moved into dance and games, including ring dancing and wine glass balancing races. There were so many smiles that we imagine quite a few children went home with aching faces, let alone full stomachs!
