Embrace Your Legacy with The Old St Peter’s Society

Connecting alumni, former parents & staff for a timeless journey

The Old St Peter’s Society is open to all alumni, former parents and staff alike. OSPs are most welcome to contact us, particularly if they would like to come along to an open day and have a tour of their old prep school. We love to hear from former pupils and, if you complete this form and return it to us, we will make sure you receive an annual copy of our Harefield Magazine and the Alumni newsletter:

Jack Fanning

Jack joined St Peter’s Preparatory School in Reception and, when he left us at the end of Year 8, he was Head Boy. It was clear from Jack’s prep school days that he was very talented. In the academic year 2016-17, Jack was one of the members of St Peter’s Under 11A undefeated rugby team, as well as captaining our Under 11A football team and playing in the Under 11A hockey and cricket teams. During the same year, he was part of the Exeter City Football Club Academy, played football Regional football, played squash for Devon and at a national level, as well as competing in athletics nationally.

In 2017, Jack was awarded a St Peter’s Major All-rounder scholarship for his academic abilities, musicality and sporting prowess. During the academic year 2017-18, Jack gained a place at the Independent Schools Football Association’s (ISFSA) Academy and represented the South West in the ISFA finals for the Under 13s.

Jack became Head Boy of St Peter’s Preparatory School in September 2018 and, at the end of that academic year, he secured a senior school place with an academic exhibition.

Unsurprisingly, we have followed Jack’s progress closely and it was fantastic to learn that he joined Swansea City AFC’s academy at the young age of 16 after being offered a scholarship by the club, while he was studying A-levels in Maths, French and PE at college.

It seems that Jack is following in the footsteps of former St Peter’s pupil, Michael Cooper, who is Plymouth Argyle Football Club’s goalkeeper and of former St Peter’s Head Girl, Emma Corney, who signed her first professional cricket contract with Western Storm in April 2023.
