15 pupils at St Peter’s Preparatory School in Lympstone, Devon, have found out today that they have passed their GCSE in Thinking and Reasoning Skills.
Head of English, Mrs Parker, who taught them comments: “What makes the achievement even more admirable is that they took the exam in Year 8 when they were only 13 years old! I am absolutely delighted by the results. It is a fitting testament to all the hard work they have put in during the past couple of years.”
The pupils followed a two-year course in preparation for the exam. Special mention should go to Emma who achieved a distinction which is the equivalent to an ‘A’ grade. Overall the results from the 15 pupils were 5 passes 9 merits and 1 distinction.
