On Friday 20 April, St Peter’s held its third Harefield Run, in which children (And adults) from right across the school community race right the way around the school grounds.
The weather couldn’t have been more glorious for the event and plenty of chilled water was at hand for the runners. We were thrilled to see so many parents come to support their children and some even took part in the years 7 & 8 race, with Mr Scarth taking first place once again in the adults.
We have to congratulate the winners of the individual races (Of which there are pictures in the gallery below) but also all of the children and adults taking part for what has become a community highlight for the school. Everyone put in their best efforts and many were determined to finish their race with an almighty final push as they saw the finish line before them. It was also heart-warming to see so many children who had either already raced or were awaiting their turn, lining the course to cheer on the runners of all ages and to offer a quick “high-five” as they reached the finish.
