We have had a great week, with some glorious autumnal weather. Our Harvest Festival was made extra special this year with the awarding of the House pumpkin growing competition winners. Well done to Lake House who grew the largest pumpkin. Mrs Richards, our Hospitality and Catering Manager, has promised to make some wonderful Lake House pumpkin recipes following half-term. Our Hallowe’en disco was a resounding success and thank you to the PTA for all of their work to make this event such fun for the children. As I write, the Year 7 and Year 8 children are enjoying their sports tour to Cardiff. There was great excitement all round as they set off this morning.
Thank you to all who joined us for the family dog walk last weekend, the weather was kind and it was lovely to see so many of you there.
Please enjoy the half-term break with your families. There are some intrepid explorers out there! The Johnstons will enjoy a trip to Paris and then some rest time in Cornwall. I look forward to seeing you after half-term for the big build-up to a proper St Peter’s Christmas.
