Now in its 3rd year, the annual St Peter’s Harefield Run always generates excitement amongst both the children and adults in the school community.
Children of all ages take part in races that circle the entire school, with trophies being awarded to the fastest boy and girl in each grouping. Equally, the parent race also stirs up the competitive streak in many an adult and the children take much pride in cheering on their mum or dad.
In yesterday’s preparations for the event, children were directed through how Friday’s races will be organised under the supervision of Mr Pritchard.
Many children (and a certain adult) will be looking to defend their titles, or hoping to get first place in this year’s grouping. We wish everyone the best of luck and have our fingers crossed that the spell of good weather continues until at least Friday afternoon!
