Christmas has most definitely arrived this week! The Nativity plays have been tremendous, with some star turns, wonderful singing and enthusiastic participation. My parents and Miss Paver’s grandparents very much enjoyed watching. Mrs Bruce-Jones writes an original script every year and this one didn’t disappoint, with the usual topical lines and wonderful witty asides.
At the time of writing, I am off to Dart’s Farm to watch our Chamber Choir take part in some carol singing, getting lots of practice in readiness for our Carol Service at Holy Trinity Church, Exmouth next week.
There has been some excellent play on the sports field this week. I have also had some Year 3 visitors to my study to show me their excellent descriptive writing and Felix in Year 8 came to share his outstanding French speaking.
