Our recent Open Day was very busy and our children really enjoyed finding out more about their school and gaining house points stickers on the way on their special passport. The new initiative was a resounding success and I know that the children were hugely proud to show their parents around their school while discovering bits that they didn’t know about! The rain held off, thank goodness.
A highlight of this week has been the Future Schools fair on Tuesday evening where 21 Senior Schools visited and spoke to parents and pupils. Thank you all for attending and supporting this event. The schools travel a long way and very much appreciated meeting and talking to the community.
Meanwhile, Mr Hoban has written about the importance of Musical instrument tuition. Please do read his letter in the school newsletter and sign up your children to learn. It is a hugely valuable life skill as well
as a passport to an enriched understanding of culture.
