Welcome to the newsletter for Week 3. It has been a lovely, more ‘normal’, week and, although we do have some cases of Coronavirus going around, these aren’t impacting the whole school too much. Year 7 and Year 8 celebrated not having to wear masks in lessons anymore (as did the staff!)
On Thursday, we had a successful PTA meeting. At the meeting, I shared a presentation on some PTA funding ideas moving forward. Here is a video of me doing the same and also a voting poll so that parents, as well as pupils, can vote on our next initiatives. They range from supporting our new Gardening club to an Outside Gym, as well as a school radio station. All very exciting! We are in the process of organising Pre-prep, Lower School and Upper School Class Rep meetings this term and will contact them directly.
Next term, we will be running year group coffee mornings / afternoon teas, as we did last year, as an opportunity for parents to get together on the school site. We are also in the process of organising the first St Peter’s Beach Clean on the 14 March; put the date in the diary!
Rose continues to collect for St Petrocs, with one more week before she visits. Thank you for all of your donations. The boxes will remain ready in the main reception for any further items next week.
