The weather has been a bit of a killer this week and our Lower School pupils were disappointed on Thursday as their cricket matches were cancelled against Blundell’s School. However, it was great to watch the girls play on the Pearson Field with a sumptuous tea provided by the Kitchen team. Mrs Hughes hosted a useful workshop on sleep and we welcomed the Head of the New School for a visit. It has been the Music faculty review week and we look forward to sharing the results with the community in due course.
You may have noticed Emma Solley, our professional photographer, here last week for the Harefield Run. The pictures are coming through and we will be sharing them with you gradually.
We are delighted that the plans for the PTA Charity Ball in July are coming together for what promises to be a fantastic evening. We are still looking for support with prizes for the grand auction, silent auction and raffle, as well as donations of fun items to fill 300 goody bags for guests to take away at the end of the evening. If you are able to help us with any of these, in order to raise funds for the Royal Marines Charity and the PTA, please email the Ball Committee on stpeterscharityball@gmail.com. Thank you!
Please look at arrangements for the sponsored walk on Woodbury Common, again in aid of the Royal Marines Charity, on Wednesday 10 May for Years 5 to 8.
Do enjoy the Bank holiday weekend and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.
